Tuesday, March 2nd, evening

Are all your babies still alive? I could swear mine is growing! Do you think I should give myself extra points for that? ;)

Ah, this is such a pointless entry. But I should use this thing every once in a while, right?

Next week I want to hear from all third years about how dealing with a baby has affected your daily life. You don't have to write anything down, just think about it a bit so when I ask you about it in class, you won't just blink and stare.

Knowing you guys, you'll mostly just blink and stare.

Like I said, this entry is pointless.

For second years, then: you don't have to bring anything to class next week. With White Day coming up, a tradition that I think you should all learn about, I'll be teaching you some easy to prepare things to dazzle that special someone. I'd do this with the first year students as well, but aren't you all a bit to young to even have a special someone? I can probably be persuaded to change my mind on that one, so try if you must.

Monday, February 11, near midnight

Because I forgot to mention this:

First Art Club meeting for this semester will be this Thursday, at 4pm. Be there.

If you're thinking about joining, feel free to come by as well.

For all third years: First Child Care evaluation will be tomorrow. Next time I won't give prior notice.

Monday, February 4

So, because I got impatient and bored I took the liberty of pairing up all the third year students myself. For the Child Care project, that is. I also changed my mind about the eggs. When talking to my teacher friend again, he said their school used to work with these really realistic dolls that actually cry and whatnot. Since they discontinued the project after a few years, he said I could borrow a few, so instead of eggs you'll be getting real babies. (Well, kind of.)

Some of you commented on my post or talked to me in the hallways, I've honoured all your requests. As for the rest, well, I didn't randomly draw your names out of a hat, I've actually thought about these choices, and that's why as of now, you're too late to request to be paired up with someone. The list won't change and that's that.

That being said...

The List )

As for what I expect of this project...

The Meaning )

See, it's not that hard. See you guys tomorrow.

(no subject)

To all third class students. Since class ended rather faster than I thought it would (got to get used to this again!), leave me a message here when you've formed a pair for the child care project!

[OOC: Since only one person joined the log Tsuyoshi posted, I'll just do it this way. Every third year student will be in this project, so make sure your muse pairs up with someone and comment here (or join the log, it's still there). There's not a lot of work involved, Tsuyoshi will just want to check on how the project is going from time to time.]

Post... I forgot. January 23, anyway

Remarkable, really, how easy it is to get back to daily school life. It's like the break never happened.

[FILTERED TO: KO-CHAN]
You're cooking tonight. I'm tired.
[/FILTER]
[OOC: I'm totally assuming they're living in the same apartment again.]

So, class(es). Tell me. What do you want to see in this school term? I'll have a look at your suggestions and see what I can do.

For the third years, I can announce that the project we'll be starting next week, will be Child Care. I'm announcing this now because I'm being nice to you and you can think about who you want to pair up with now, instead of having to decide in two minutes in class. So, think about it, okay? I'll explain what it entails when I see you guys. I'll just tell you it's got something to do with eggs.

[FILTERED TO: NAGASE]
Still on for those cooking lessons?

Back in Japan. It's cold here...

Did everyone have a nice time? I can't believe it's a new year again. Kotoshi mo yoroshiku onegai shimasu!

I still need to unpack. I wanted to post some pictures, but that will have to wait. I'm also hungry, I wonder if Koichi-nii is interested in cooking today. I guess I should ask.

See you all on Monday.

Just checked the forecasts. 28 degrees Celsius, how's that for winter break? Ko-chan, we're geniuses.

You people all have fun freezing to your Christmas trees while we spend our time waking up to views like this.

Happy holidays!

So! How's everyone been doing on their midterms? It's nice being the Home Economics teacher, na. No midterms, just finals. Well, I guess I could have changed my ways, but some of you seemed so excited about baking cookies. Maybe I'll just grade your cookies.

Those of you who haven't done any project yet, I'll hunt you down and make you stay for another week. Sadly, I think it's only been a few of you this year.

If you're wondering why it is that your teacher is in such high spirits, maa... why ask? Winter break, people, winter break. Let's all get out of this place and enjoy ourselves and forget about that evil thing called class. Well, except for those of you I'm forcing to stay and bake me a cake.

[FILTERED TO: KOICHI]
What's the weather like in Sri Lanka, anyway?
[/FILTER]

[FILTERED TO: KOICHI, TSUBASA]
Tonight. What time. Let's go early? Suddenly I can't wait to get out of here.
Also, did we decide on where, yet? Do we want to roll from club to club in Shibuya? Or are we looking for something less well-known. I don't care, really. It's not like I have to be sober within the next few days.
[/FILTER]

[OOC: Also, quite randomly, whatever happened to that TV? Did Koichi actually bolt it to Nagase's wall? o.o]

I saw this really interesting documentary on the life of Misaka Wataru the other day. Man, how I miss playing basketball. Shingo, you and I should play a bit some day soon, na.

Do you feel it? The Christmas spirit? I went to look at the nurse's office before, it's really pretty! Have you all seen it?

[FILTERED TO: STUDENTS]
Since we won't be working on anything new until winter break, I have an idea for the remaining classes of this year! Actually, it was one of your entries that made me think of it.

For the remainder of the year we'll be making traditional Christmas treats.

Since I all want you to enjoy this as much as possible, you'll be able to pair up with whoever you want. I don't even care if you're in different grades, just as long as nobody misses classes over this. I'll be around all the time anyway, so you can schedule your baking and preparing when it's most convenient for you, just know that I will be keeping an eye on who comes to class and who doesn't. If I haven't seen you by the end of the week, that counts as skipping.

Filtering this to you dear students because I'm not sure administration would approve. Sometimes I wonder if they understand Christmas at all. Don't tell them I said that.

If you want to pair up with someone from another grade, leave me a message and we can work something out, na! Also, feel free to poke me for ideas! If there's something you really want to make, let me know so I can make sure we have all the ingredients. Minna, let's have fun until winter break.
[/FILTER]

[FILTERED TO: KOICHI]
Bro. Are we going home for Christmas?
[/FILTER]

[FILTERED TO: ART CLUB]
Decorations for the play looked wonderful! Good job, everyone! Feel free to suggest a new project here or during our next meeting.
[/FILTER]

I really enjoyed the play! Everyone was really good, na. I'm looking forward to next time, whenever and whatever that will be.

[FILTERED TO: NAGASE]
There's still a TV with your name on it in my livingroom.
[/FILTER]

[FILTERED TO: KAZAMA]
Are you sure you don't want to give him that TV yourself? I still have it, so just say the word and it's all yours again.
[/FILTER]

Post 2: Monday, December 3

Monday already! Ah, I wish I could sleep a little longer but it's almost time to get to school. I think I'm becoming an old man, I need my sleep!

[FILTERED TO: NAGASE]
You. You needed a TV, yes? When are you home?
[/FILTER]

[FILTERED TO: KOICHI]
If anyone asks, we gave Nagase a TV. Just so you know.
[/FILTER]

So, how was everyone's weekend? Because I know you're going to ask, mine was lovely, thank you. I went fishing with Kazama-sensei and Kawai-sensei. (Fumi, I still say my fish was bigger than yours.)

[FILTERED TO: TEACHERS, NURSE SHINGO ^^]
Sunday was fun, we should do that more often. Only maybe not on a Sunday, judging by some people's tendency to get drunk.
[OOC: I'm totally assuming they had fun and people got drunk but I think that's a safe guess, yes? XD]
[/FILTER]

[FILTERED TO: KOICHI]
You take up too much space. Why on earth were you sleeping in my bed, anyway, you have one of your own. You have an entire room of your own. I know I wasn't entirely sober but is that an excuse to use me for a teddy bear?
[/FILTER]

So. Since I've been lazy about advertising this year, let's make up for lost time and do it now!

Art Club.

For those of you who haven't joined but want to, come see me in my class room or randomly poke me in the hallways. Or leave me a message here. For those of you who have been happy members for some time, I have a question for you. Like every year, our meetings seem to clash with other things sometimes. So... is there a certain day and time you'd prefer? We can change things around if enough people want to, I just need to know about it.

Also, it seems I got our new Art teacher interested in our little club of talents, so from now on Arioka-sensei will be assisting. Be nice to him, okay? It's been six years but I still have nightmares about how students used to treat me when I was new. I don't wish that on the poor guy. (Unless he really asks for it, but let me be the judge of that).

Hmm, just enough time for a light breakfast before I leave. I'll see you all soon.

Maido (^-^)v

Since some of you (no names, no names, don't worry) have been wondering out loud and in my presence why I'm not on this journal thing... well... See? I'm trying. And yes, that face thing took me half an hour to figure out.

I think I've used this thing twice in the last six years and I was probably drunk both times. <-- see, I know how everything works!

Look, I even put some pictures of me up here. Not sure if any of you want to see them but I picked out the best ones. Ah, Koichi-nii, I might have gone through your collection to find some of these and uhm, remind me never to do that again? Any idea what this one is from, anyway? I like it.

So what do people write here, anyway? About what they've been doing, right? Saa... ah, I was drawing the other day, just drawing nothing in particular, when I realised a fish had come out! It looked exactly like the fish I caught last weekend. Maybe it was trying to get back at me, because in a way it caught me this time, right? Taking my precious time away by insisting I'd draw it.

Fishing sure is relaxing, isn't it.

So, are the people from Art Club on this thing as well? I wonder why I'm stuck with that bunch again. It was supposed to be a temporary thing, right, when the old Art teacher went on leave or something, I don't even remember. Then there was another teacher, they fall like flies, these Art people. And now I'm still in charge. Maa, I enjoy it, so don't worry! Next meeting, we should see how much work still needs to be done for the school play, na! Everyone who's in the play, good l-- oh, you aren't supposed to say that? What is it I should say, break a leg? Just... don't break any, I hear we already have one of those in the play, anyway.
[OOC: So, who is in Art Club, anyway? I know Yasu joined, but I suppose we can make it a real club now, if anyone is interested.]

So, how is everyone doing? Bro, are you on here as well? You're the family nerd, you must be.

Writing in this thing is addictive, now I don't feel like stopping. There are lesson plans to be made, though, so. Dewa mata.
